Section Times: Every Wednesday during term-time:

> Squirrels 5.30pm to 6.30pm – Section leader is Shannon
> Beavers 6.15pm to 7.30pm – Section leader is Ami
> Cubs 6.30pm to 8pm – Section leader is Danielle
> Scouts 6.30pm to 8pm – Section leader is Nicola

Staying Covid Safe:

If your child is unwell, please do not allow them to attend the Group night. Please follow the current guidelines available on the NHS website.
We will have a leader on the main door, who will control the number of children either entering or leaving the school.
Due to the school reception area being a small space, parents will not be permitted to enter the school, (unless you have an agreed meeting with your child’s section leader).

Uniform:
Once your child has settled in to their section, usually after the first 4 weeks, we would expect you to purchase uniform. These can be purchased from the Maghull Scout shop by phoning Sue on 07710 421065.

You will need to answer the security question, before being accepted.
To help with keeping our members safe, only immediate family members my join. Please do not repost any photographs on your personal Facebook accounts, without first obtaining permission.

Financial Information:
Subscriptions (subs), are £4.50 per week and we operate 40 weeks per year, totalling £180.00, which will be spread over 12 payments. For families who have 2 or more children in the group, then the subs are £4.00 per week.
– If you only have 1 child in the group, then you will be invoiced monthly for £15.00 per month.
– If you have 2 or more children in the group, then you will be invoiced monthly for £13.33 per month, per child.

Member Insurance (known as Capitation) is payable on an annual basis. Last year the cost was £55.00 per person.
We ask for a parent contribution of £20.00 per child and we will undertake fundraising initiatives to cover the remaining cost. This will be split over 12 months and you will be charge £1.67 per month, along with your monthly subs’ subscriptions as per above.

We use Go Cardless to collect all payments for monthly subs & insurance, camps and days out.

Please never let financial issues prevent your child from missing out of their scouting experiences. Speak with your section leader in confidence.
