Along with their Missions, Young Leaders are also part of the Explorer Scout section and are able to undertake the Awards and Badges.
There are lots of opportunities for Young Leaders to take part in International experiences, both home and abroad.

During their time, Young Leaders will gain the necessary skills and attributes to develop into young adults and have the best possible start in adulthood.

At 18 years old, Explorers/Young Leaders can go on to adults sectional assistants or take on other roles with a group. They will also automatically be added to Network, which is a County led section, who get undertake activities specific to their age group.
