Welcome to our Squirrel Section page for four and five year old children. As with the older sections, we’re hear to help young people gain skills for life at a time when it matters most and where it’s most needed.

Just like the older sections, Squirrels work towards achieving the Chief Scout Acorn Award, by completing four challenge badges and earn up to 12 Activity badges.

Unlike the our older sections, Squirrels encourage parental participation both on meeting nights and days out.
To help facilitate the safe running of the section we would require parents to sign up to our parent rota and offer their time on a voluntary basis.
All leaders and parents must complete an enhanced DBS and agree to the safety and safeguarding policies put in place by the Scout Association.
We will offer you a variety of training to suite your needs and you will become a member of the group.
